Executive Director


Position description:


The Executive Director is an exempt, salaried employee hired by the Peace Place Board to work at least 30hours/week.



  • Supervision of Director of Operations and all staff positions based in Great Falls, MT.

  • developing and implementing the strategic plan in cooperation with the Board of Directors

  • hiring and training of qualified employees, grant writing and fundraising



  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in social work, child development or related fields, with at least three years of experience is administration/management of non profit, social service organizations

  • Demonstrated competency in using Microsoft Office programs, Quick Books Pro, Google Docs and social media platforms

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communications and public speaking

  • Documented success in fundraising

  • Must be willing to travel to Helena on a regular basis and across the state of Montana occasionally

  • Must be willing to complete all required training for childcare licensing in MT and pass all required background checks




This is an exempt, full time salaried position with a starting salary range from $41,600-$49,920 depending on education and experience.
